If someone might succeed to become part of the Formula 1, a lot of hopes are projected on him, to Stefan Muecke. The young mechanic is the great hope in Formula 3 for Berlin. He is a very talented driver, one of the front men on the racetrack, but till now the crucial breakthrough didn't happen, the racing results aren't steady enough.

The documentary accompanies Stefan Muecke during his way to be on top, the tough training, the necessary preparations for the race and the hard competition during the race itself. It also tells of the strong support by his family. The father takes especially care. Peter Muecke was a legendary racing driver in the GDR, now he wants his son to become a famous champion and gives it one's all: knowledge, time, energy, money. But racing is a sport full of risks and if his son going to make it on top, the Formula 1, till the end of the film it is a question without reply.
